Stacey Rose Leondis, founder of the Foster Foundation, passed
away on July 21, 2008. She was an optimistic and powerful force
for all that is good in life. Stacey was fair and compassionate
with everyone she met. She was intelligent, poised, beautiful
and graceful. One could not help but to be struck by her
extraordinary kindness and sense of purpose in life... which was
to give to others.
We have received many letters telling us of acts of kindness
that Stacey did which we were not aware
of. Looking back, this was typical of Stacey, helping others, anonymously. Always humble
and gracious, she was an inspiration to all who knew her.
She was twenty three years old and yet touched so many people in
her short life. Stacey was a wonderful daughter, loving sister
and a loyal friend. The world has truly lost a good soul and a
strong, kind spirit for all that is honorable. We
will continue her fight by expanding the good works of the
Foster Foundation. We will not rest until her dream for children
to be healed is a reality.
